**Job Summary**

We are seeking a passionate and service-oriented Barista to join our team. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment.

**Job Responsibilities & Duties**

- Coffee & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages according to standard recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Perform daily calibration of coffee machine and maintain brewing standards.

Customer Service

- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide product recommendations.
- Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Create a positive and friendly café experience for all customers.

Operations & Hygiene

- Maintain cleanliness of the café counter, workstation, equipment, and dining areas.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (SFA guidelines).
- Ensure proper stock rotation for ingredients, coffee beans, milk, and supplies.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, cash handling, and preparation for next shift.

Inventory & Cashiering

- Assist in stock-taking of ingredients, packaging, and café supplies.
- Handle POS system transactions, payment processing, and balancing cash drawer at shift end.
- Report low stock levels and issues to supervisor or manager.

Teamwork & Other Support

- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth café operations.
- Assist with simple food preparation if required.
- Participate in training, new product launches, and promotional activities.

**Job Requirements**

- Preferably with 1 year of barista or café experience
- Strong interest in coffee, customer service, and F&B industry.
- Pleasant, positive, and outgoing personality with good communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle peak periods.
- Attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality beverages.
- Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift hours as required.
- Basic knowledge of coffee machines, brewing methods, latte art, and café operations is an added advantage.
