**What the role is**
- You will be responsible for the configuration, connectivity, readiness and cyber security aspects of all Ops and Corporate IT equipment that are supporting the day-to-day operations for Naval Warfare Centre.

**What you will be working on**
- On this, you provide first level troubleshooting of any network or IT equipment issues and escalate to the respective support teams to ensure mínimal disruption to daily operations. You need to stay up-to-date with the latest organisational IT Directives and ensure the best practices are adhered-to to prevent any cyber security incidents. In addition, you work with project teams on current and future system implementations to ensure that the proper cyber security measures, disaster recovery, logistic plans, configuration management and operations support are in place. Your challenge lies in being conversant with the different ops and corporate IT systems and networks and the appropriate support teams to approach for timely defect rectification and configuration.

**What we are looking for**
- You must have a tertiary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or any related discipline, with preferably at least 3 years' work experience in Computer Systems Administration and Network Management or similar IT related field. You should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, be IT-savvy, results-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision. Possessing certifications like Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Cisco Certified Network Associate/ Professional (CNNA/ CCNP) or any related IT certifications is advantegeous. Appointment will be commensurate to your experience.
