Our client, a shipping company, is on a lookout for a **Research Executive** to join their Singapore team

**Responsibilities**:

- To collect, compile and collate information on incidents of maritime piracy and armed robbery incidents in Asia
- Compile the details of the incidents and request the respective Country Officers to send to reports under their charge for verification
- To populate the information on the company’s database by creating Incident Cases (IC)
- Drafting of weekly and periodic reports (produced every month) and presentations slides
- Support Assistant Director on the analysis and production of Warnings, Incident Alerts,
periodic reports as well as coordinating with the relevant departments on the dissemination and uploading of these deliverables
- Participate in the developmental effort of the Data Analytics Project; as well as subsequent integration of findings into reports and presentations
- Assist Assistant Director in maintaining and updating the contacts of shipping associations, shipping companies, research institutes, think tanks, maritime training academies and universities
- Support the department in preparing and posting of the printed copies of the Annual Report, Half-Yearly Report and other reports to the relevant stakeholders

**Requirements**:

- Diploma and above in Maritime Studies or in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Able to do data crunching
- Good foundation in Anti-piracy and Maritime law
- Added advantage of knowledge in the Marine and Shipping industry
