As a result of robust growth, we have an opportunity for an experienced and ambitious **Senior Engineer - Energy (Interconnector)** to be a part of our Energy Sector in our Singapore office.**_This role offers the opportunity to:_**

At Mott MacDonald, we support our Clients in roles such as Owner’s Technical Advisor (feasibility studies, conceptual engineering, tender support), Owner’s Engineer (detailed engineering design, contract reviewing, negotiation support), as well as Independent Engineer/Lenders’ Technical Advisor (technical due diligence, operational reviews and technical audits) globally.- You'll get to experience projects from conception to completion and operation.
- You will provide engineering inputs from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility, due diligence, construction monitoring, and operation monitoring.
- You’ll also be reviewing and preparing technical and non-technical reports including specifications, proposals, designs, calculations and contracts.
- You will also actively assist with business development and client management.

We work as an integrated, global network so you will get the chance to work alongside other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary project team, giving you an understanding of projects from different technology perspectives. This means we look for consultants with genuine curiosity and a deep understanding of energy projects.- As part of your role as Senior Engineer, you ideally have the following experience:
- Project management skills and experience working in an international, multicultural environment
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience with a degree in mechanical, or electrical engineering, or other relevant background
- Providing specialist inputs to energy projects, such as interconnector, transmission and distribution, and/or renewable energy projects
- Interfacing with clients at all levels, manage contractual relationships and respond to business opportunities
- Managing multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating specialist discipline inputs.
- Ensure projects are set up and completed according to the highest quality assurance standards. Excellent communication and writing skills.**Equality, diversity and inclusion**
