**Able to work day/night rotating shift**
- Receive, collect and sort samples
- Perform incoming, in-process and outgoing quality checks in a timely manner
- Document all test results accurately and report deviations
- Investigate anomalies
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures
- Follow all Quality Control plans
- Maintain, calibrate, validate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Participate, if any, in inspection of installations
- Manage stocks and orders
- Follow up on audit findings
- Upkeep laboratory standards and participate in laboratory improvement initiatives
- Take part in shift handover meetings
- Other duties as assigned

**HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT**
- Partake in all HSEQ activities
- Enforce waste management
- Monitor and minimise the environmental impact and energy consumption of laboratory activities
- Participate in risk studies
- Comply to HSEQ policies at all times
- Achieve zero LTI
- Participate, if any, in incident reporting

This is a new plant in Singapore producing high performance polymers. The challenges include building a team from scratch and establishing the relevant quality systems.

**Education**
- NITEC or Diploma in Material Science or Chemistry or equivalent

**Knowledge**
- Organic chemistry, analytical chemistry

**Skills**
- Microsoft Office, LIMS, SAP

**Soft skills**
- Self-driven team player with good communication skills; able to plan and prioritize

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

- 13th month salary
- Overtime pay
- Performance bonus
