JR42830 Intern - PLN MATERIAL

Project Title: Material Budget Automation & Smart Spares Cost Per Wafer (CPW) calculator

**Description**:Material Planning Team performs many activities, from materials forecast to material budget generation. One key driver is Spares Cost per wafer (CPW) which is an important parameter in budgeting process to estimate equipment maintenance expense for cost competitiveness. This project targets to relate different independent parameters to generate Spares CPW calculation. It also requires developing an algorithm to establish a coefficient value between historical/actual spending to represent the gaps and auto adjust Spares CPW data. All these and adhoc business activities supporting the material budget generation should be automation enabled, to improve the overall productivity of the Material Planning Team.

**Scope**:Focus will be on Spares Consumable Cost Per Wafer.

**Deliverable**:The smart CPW calculator will be used by multiple users to study, investigate and compare change impact scenarios for spares expense baseline budget revisions, which will aid in more efficient decision-making and troubleshooting when planning for budgeted spares expense spending.

**Skillset**: The project mainly requires Python and SQL in material forecasting and budget preparation. Other knowledge, such as Power Automate, is optional for business process improvement Web-App development (Python), SQL.
