Middle Office Fund Accountant

**Company Background**
Parabolea is a proprietary hedge fund that trades spot and derivatives (options, futures across in the U.S. equities and digital assets markets. We are looking for a Finance Executive to assist the Portfolio Manager in trade reconciliations and weekly reporting.
**Job Scope**
- Perform weekly portfolio monitoring, cross-exchange reconciliations and NAV calculations.
- Prepare performance reports for internal reviews of trading strategies performance.
- Perform daily risk management checks, liquidity positions and margin monitoring across multiple trading platforms.
- Check that commission charges and fees are charged according to terms where applicable.
- Manage relationships with fund admins and external counterparties where required.
- Assist with company operational matters, such as annual financial reporting, vendor payments and other financial matters.
- Perform any ad hoc duties and projects that may arise from time to time.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma / bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business.
- Must be driven, responsible, proactive, meticulous and detailed oriented.
- Work experience in handling trading portfolios at a bank / fund middle office a major plus.
- Knowledge and experience in VBA excel and/or related programming languages (Python) a major plus.
- Able to work independently in a small team setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office required (Word and Excel in particular).
