Job Description
- Maintain all ledgers, journals and other accounting records of the company - Prepare detailed reports of income and expenditure monthly with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods, for Heads of Department and Managing Director - Prepare profit and loss accounts and the balance sheet - Assist in preparing budgets and in business planning which includes projected room revenue - Reconcile bank statements - Report bad debts and monitors cash flow statements - Plan, coordinate the production of financial/regulatory reports in conjunction with other finance staff - Examine and review financial and regulatory reports/statements to ensure compliance with standards and regulations - Develop and oversee the production of internal reporting formats/standards - Assume other responsibilities as designated by the company
