**Job Summary**

**Essential Functions**
- Interface with internal and external customers and stakeholders to plan and develop new products based on customer requirements and company objectives
- Conduct necessary material testing and evaluation to support product development
- Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems, and provide technical guidance and support throughout the product lifecycle
- Explore new technologies that can enhance product offerings to fulfill customer needs
- Create and maintain documentation including testing reports, and work instruction procedures for laboratory equipment.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelors-Chemi Engineering, Material Engineering, Polymer, Chemistry, or Equivalent Experience
- R&D & Technology - Technology/R&D
- Knowledge in plastic formulation and hands-on experience in polymer processing (e.g. compounding, injection molding, extrusion, etc.)
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in polymeric material analysis (e.g. thermal, chemical, mechanical, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with all levels of employment both verbally and in writing.
