**Head of Legal & Compliance at Derivatives/Digital Assets Exchange Platform - Central, Singapore**

An established derivatives/digital assets exchange platform is seeking an experienced Head of Legal & Compliance professional. You will be given an exciting opportunity to work closely with the CEO on all legal, regulatory and compliance and to manage a growing legal & compliance team. In return, you will enjoy an attractive total remuneration of up to S$300,000.

As the Head of Legal & Compliance, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks:

- Directly report to the CEO and Board on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues.
- Oversee legal, board secretariat, and compliance matters. Develop and maintain the necessary frameworks and policies to support these functions.
- Supervise frontline regulatory activities, including Member Admission and Supervision (including on-site inspections) and Market Surveillance. Develop and maintain relevant frameworks, policies, and trading/clearing rules for these functions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for communications with the Monetary Authority of Singapore regarding all regulatory and compliance matters.

**Requirements**:

- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher from a reputable educational institution.
- Legal training is preferred but not mandatory.
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of work experience in financial industry regulation, with a strong understanding of the futures industry.
- Demonstrate a solid knowledge of the Securities and Futures Act.
- Have at least 5 years of managerial experience.
- Exhibit exceptional stakeholder engagement, interpersonal, and communication skills. You should be adept at effectively interacting with senior management, board directors, and peers.
- Uphold strong integrity and work ethics.
