Cargowise Product Owner

**Job Summary**

As the CargoWise Product Owner, you will be a key member of our systems and operations team, responsible for leading the design, development, and continuous improvement of our CargoWise platform across the organization. You will play a critical role in enabling operational efficiency and data integrity by collaborating closely with commercial, operations, finance, and technology stakeholders. Your focus will be on translating business needs into scalable system solutions, prioritizing enhancements, and ensuring successful implementation across multiple regions. Your expertise in freight forwarding systems, process optimization, and stakeholder alignment will be essential to driving digital transformation and delivering value through CargoWise.

**Responsibilities**

System Ownership, Platform Strategy & Roadmap Delivery
- Serve as the primary owner of the CargoWise platform, accountable for system performance, scalability, and alignment with enterprise goals.
- Drive prioritization of backlog items, ensuring value delivery through frequent system updates and releases.
- Partner with the Logistics Product Partner to engage internal stakeholders to ensure the system meets current and future business requirements across all functions and regions.

System Design, Development Oversight & Delivery Management
- Lead the end-to-end system development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, system configurations, and scalable workflows within CargoWise.
- Coordinate closely with CargoWise Team, developers, and integration partners to ensure the timely delivery of features and solutions.
- Oversee sprint planning, development velocity, and delivery milestones, ensuring solutions are on time, on budget, and meet quality standards.

Governance, Compliance & Platform Standards
- Establish and enforce system governance protocols, including user roles, data ownership, and workflow standards.
- Monitor compliance with system policies and ensure alignment with global and regional operational requirements.
- Lead system audits, manage release documentation, and ensure configurations follow best practices.
- Own master data quality initiatives to ensure reliable system reporting and analytics

Testing, Rollout, and Post-Implementation Support
- Drive testing strategy including unit testing, UAT coordination, and defect resolution.
- Ensure readiness for go-lives through structured rollout plans, change impact assessments, and hyper-care support.
- Collaborate with training teams to ensure smooth adoption and build system ownership across super users and end users.Track post-deployment outcomes and iterate based on feedback and operational KPIs.

**Requirements**:

- Certified CargoWise Professional Desirable
- Degree in relevant fields
- An excellent command of written and spoken English is essential.
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- Experience in regional/global roll-out of CargoWise operations function is required.
- Experience in leading a project team to design global systems standards, processes, and governance
- CargoWise system setup knowledge is Desirable
- Data architecture and data flows
- Self-motivated, able to work independently with initiative, self-organizer
