**Purpose and Scope**
- To check and ensure that all mechanical works are executed in accordance with the design, specifications and codes of practice.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**
- To check, co-ordinate and integrate all mechanical works with architectural and civil and structural works and highlight any discrepancies to the Superintending Officer.
- To compile and submit all mechanical systems proposed by the Contractor for the Superintending Officer's acceptance.
- To check and highlight to the Superintending Officer of any discrepancy between mechanical and electrical, architectural, civil and structural and other drawings against that of the site conditions prior to the commencement of work.
- To check the correctness of all mechanical works in accordance with the design, specifications and codes of practice.
- To make periodic inspections of the works performed and to be performed on site to ensure that the works are being executed according to the necessary standards, performance, quality and workmanship.
- To co-ordinate with architectural and civil and structural disciplines on the services and access openings required for the mechanical services.
- Is responsible for the supervision of the rectification of mechanical defects during the Defects Liability Period. All defects must be made good to the satisfaction of the Superintending Officer.
- To perform administrative tasks such as the documentation of correspondence, inspection forms, test reports and the like.
- To perform other duties as and when directed by the Superintending Officer

**Qualification, Skills and Experience**
- Min 5 years of relevant working experience
