GSK Apprenticeships are full-time entry level opportunities that offer ITE graduates the opportunity to begin their career while studying towards nationally recognised qualifications - a Diploma in Applied Science (Chemical Technology) fully funded by GSK. You will also receive a Work-Study Diploma certificate from Republic Polytechnic, a nationally recognised credential that certifies occupational proficiency.

**Education required**: Fresh Graduates (NITEC/HIGHER NITEC/DIPLOMA) in the fields of Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering/Life Science. Fresh ITE graduates within 3 years of graduation or ORD.

**Language requirement**: Written and spoken fluency in English

**Other requirements**:

- Must be able to commute daily to the GSK manufacturing facility in Tuas and to the polytechnic when required for classes

**Start date**: October 2025 (may be earlier depending on your availability for orientation)

**Assessment Centre Date**: Half day in the Week of 7July (To be confirmed)

We are looking for highly motivated ITE alumni and fresh graduates with an interest in science and engineering who are looking to kickstart their career in the biopharma industry. The apprenticeship programme allows you to develop hands-on technical skills learning to while continuing your education.

Working at our vaccines manufacturing site, you will help to ensure we have the latest, safe, efficient, and reliable processes and equipment to deliver life-saving vaccines to people in 90% of the world’s countries. This role will enable you to develop your skills in an industry that’s making radical changes to the way it develops and manufactures products.

This entry-level development opportunity offers you the chance to study towards nationally recognized qualifications while gaining hands-on, paid on-the-job training. Our apprentices attend polytechnic part-time studying towards a Diploma in Applied Science (Chemical Technology) while working at a GSK Vaccines Manufacturing facility in Singapore.

You will also receive a Work-Study certificate from our partnering polytechnic, a nationally recognised credential that certifies occupational proficiency.

You will spend most of your week working in our manufacturing facility learning how to operate and maintain the different equipment and utility systems that support our vaccines production from our in-house industry experts. You will learn safety and risk management to ensure all equipment is operated safely and efficiently. Over the 30 months of the apprenticeship, you will have a personal training programme to help you develop and progress.

**What will you do?**

As a Biotech apprentice, you may get involved in the following activities:

- Learning about Good Manufacturing Practices and safety requirements
- Learn about our process/operations to ensure processes are completed reliably
- Be trained/qualified in all procedures and training required for performing operations
- Ensuring quality, safety and accuracy in all that we do
- Supporting routine preventive maintenance activities
- Get involved in project activities
- Coordination with other department / colleagues to ensure supply and operations continuity
