**Responsibilities**:
1. **Security Operations & Threat Management**
- Monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents using SIEM and EDR tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage patching and remediation efforts.
- Analyze security alerts and perform in-depth incident investigations and root cause analysis.
- Maintain logs, alerts, and reports for audit and compliance purposes.

2. **Infrastructure & Endpoint Security**
- Implement and manage endpoint protection solutions, firewalls, and antivirus tools.
- Ensure secure configurations across servers, workstations, mobile devices, and cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to harden systems and networks based on best practices.

3. **Access Management & Security Policies**
- Support the administration of identity and access management (IAM), including Active Directory and MFA enforcement.
- Assist in developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Enforce adherence to security protocols across all users and business units.

4. **Compliance & Risk Mitigation**
- Support regulatory or industry standards.
- Participate in internal/external audits and risk assessments.
- Maintain updated documentation of security controls, SOPs, and asset inventory.

5. **Project Support & Cybersecurity Awareness**
- Contribute to security components of IT projects and system implementations.
- Assist in cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvements in security architecture.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a cybersecurity or IT security engineering role.
- Proficient in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel), EDR, and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Good knowledge of firewalls, network protocols, Windows/Linux hardening, and cloud security.
- Familiar with frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or equivalent) are an advantage.
