As a DevOps Engineer, you will be joining the technical team responsible for the design & implementation of a multi-tenant SaaS platform. The entire platform runs on AWS and is being refactored to fully embrace the serverless architecture of AWS. You will be responsible for managing and automating our cloud environment, as well as automating the provisioning of servers and AWS resources using tools like CloudFormation, Ansible or Terraform. You will work with engineering leaders and the infrastructure team to help define a vision and best practices for managing our "infrastructure as code" to support scaling, high availability, security and performance. You will also work closely with our Scrum-based development teams to design and deliver solutions compatible with this vision. You will be responsible for automation, continuous delivery, monitoring and alerting experience, and will be proficient working in: cross-disciplinary team of product managers, product designers, software developers, QA professionals, data analysts and biz leads using agile methodology. **Responsibilities**: - Design, implement, and maintain solutions that empower development teams to expertly deliver the best software and use infrastructure most efficiently - First level escalation point for resolving technical emergencies - Manage high severity incidents and high customer impact incidents focusing on fast detection and recovery - Identify and resolve problems relating to critical service operations. Participate in documentation of Standard Operating Procedure(SOP) - Develop automated technical operation tools/systems to eliminate repetitive manual operations - Maintaining and enhancing deployment scripts, tools, and methodologies **Qualification**: Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software engineering, or any other related technical expertise **Minimum Requirements**: - 3+ years of working experience - Experience in one or more of the following: Java, Python, React or Bash scripting - Experience in Unix/Linux environment (CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon AMI) - Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, API Gateway, etc) - Experience with SQL, NoSQL database and ElasticSearch - Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a team-based environment - Experience using and implementing continuous software delivery pipelines (CI/CD) - Experience with Linux Containers and/or has experience with Jenkins **Skills or Experiences considered as a plus**: - Working experience in multi cluster environments, packaging, system bring up, performance tuning and operations at high scale - Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems - Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive - Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks - Experience with Infrastructure as Code (laC) tools, such as Ansible or Terraform **Remuneration and Benefits: - Monthly salary: 5,500 to 7,500 SGD per month depending on experience - Bonus: twice a year - Telework allowance: 100 SGD per month - Dental claim of up to $800 per year - Annual health screening - Group insurance
