Solution Architect

As a **Solution Architect** you'd be able to work on and solve many interesting challenges which we are facing, learn new ways of working, and help build delightful high-quality products for our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Understands business functions, specifically in the Payments space, and transform requirements into architecture and blueprint for the solution being created. Need to propose new innovative solutions, updates to existing solutions, negotiate alternative options, build technical and release roadmaps
- Work closely with the development team and get their buy-in into accepting the design to be implemented. Also, work with different stake holders, product owner, senior executives, external parties like system integrators, product partners.
- Provide technology perspective to business to achieve roadmap and prioritization by keeping abreast with industry trends. Where required, help business size the complexity of problem and help simplify and define MVP
- Ensure best practices, frameworks and re-useable components are employed in the development project
- Understand and comply with Information Security standards, methodologies and practices.
- Navigate a bit of the unknown and unventured space in terms of new technologies or out-of-box thinking. Architecture Creativity is key to the success of the role.
- Work with business stakeholders and challenge the norm when necessary to bring creative solutions to the table
- Predict timelines ahead of schedule and potential issues with a view to having a plan ready to tackle and solve them
- Trouble-shoot technical problems faced by the project team

**Requirements**:

- 10+ years of experience in the technology industry including 6+ in architecture of scalable and high-performance internet facing systems
- Have in depth knowledge in the Operations Domain [Contact Centre, Fraud, AML, Credit Risk etc.] is highly critical to the success of the role.
- Good experience in API security including OAuth2/OIDC, Tokens, mTLS etc.
- Passion for architecture and ability to pick up and learn new technological advances very quickly
- Good working experience in Java, Spring, Spring boot, any modern messaging technology, any RDBMS and/or NoSQL
- Practical knowledge in Agile and DevOps environments, open source technologies and related tools.
- Adapts to changes in technology and business domains, has good knowledge of latest trends in the market and is well respected within the team

**Role Specific Technical Competencies**
- Good experience in API security including OAuth2/OIDC, Tokens, mTLS etc.
- Good working experience in Java, Spring, Spring boot, any modern messaging technology, any RDBMS and/or NoSQL
- Practical knowledge in Agile and DevOps environments, open-source technologies and related tools.
