We are expanding our team and seeking an **Additive Manufacturing Operator (AMO) **to join us. As an AMO, you will operate and maintain the additive manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality parts and components.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Set up, operate, and monitor additive manufacturing equipment, including large-scale robotic 3D printers, to produce parts according to specifications, schedule and quality standards.
- Prepare and load materials into the 3D printers, ensuring proper fixturing, alignment and configuration.
- Monitor the printing process, perform regular inspections, and make necessary adjustments to maintain print quality and prevent issues.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the additive manufacturing equipment to keep it in optimal condition.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, perform basic repairs or coordinate with 3rd-party vendors for more complex issues.
- Collaborate across the full process chain.
- Document production activities, including materials used, machine settings, and any issues or deviations encountered during printing.
- Maintained inventory of materials, consumables, and spare parts required for additive manufacturing operations.

**Qualifications, Key Skills & Desired Qualities**:

- Higher National ITE Certificate (Higher Nitec) National ITE Certificate (Nitec) ITE Skills Certificate (ISC) or equivalent. Additional technical or vocational training in additive manufacturing or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience operating and maintaining robotic additive manufacturing equipment, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Able to read, interpret and create engineering drawings, including the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and tolerances (GD&T)
- Knowledge and experience in heat treatment and joining techniques for metals casting, forging, and machining are a plus.
- Experience in NDT and DT techniques is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective documentation, presentation, and composition skill
- Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change.
- Self-motivated and possesses a hands-on attitude and initiative.
- Highly organized and able to work in a team and startup environment.
- Creative enough to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
