Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will manage and oversee all aspects of quantity surveying, such as cost estimation, cost control, contract administration, and project management. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects on time and within budget.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, covering material, labor, and equipment costs.
- Perform comprehensive cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
- Review and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and project specifications.
- Monitor and control project costs during construction, identifying potential overruns and implementing corrective actions.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to assess requirements and create cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare and present regular progress and financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress, verify quantities, and address any quantity-related issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- In-depth knowledge of construction cost estimation, contract administration, and project management principles.
- Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools such as CostX, Bluebeam, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working independently and leading a team.
