**About the company**:
This organisation is a prestigious Protection & Indemnity (P&I) Club with a global presence, providing risk management and insurance services to the marine shipping and logistics industry. The Singapore office is the regional HQ for the Asia-Pacific region, and requires an experienced Marine Transport and Logistics Underwriter to join the team.

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Underwrite and assess risks in marine transport, logistics, and associated liabilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, shipowners, and clients.
- Develop tailored insurance solutions to meet clients' needs while maintaining the Club’s risk appetite.
- Ensure proper documentation, including policy wording and coverage details.
- Analyse market trends and developments in marine insurance and logistics to provide strategic advice.
- Collaborate with other departments such as claims, loss prevention, and legal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and market outreach.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or related field (Masters preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marine underwriting, specifically in transport and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of P&I insurance and the global shipping industry.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Proficiency in underwriting systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
