The Red Hat Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) organization is looking for a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Specialist.

As the Regional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Program Lead, you will lead the design, execution,and operationalization of regional and country specific initiatives and action plans across our APAC region. You will work closely with country and regional managers, DEI colleagues and communities but also with HR teams and other partners. In this role, you will leverage insights from company, market, and best practice data to implement various initiatives, serve as a change ambassador, and partner with key stakeholders and leaders to influence many aspects of our culture and drive change. You will provide expert knowledge of the external landscape to diagnose and identify persistent, systemic opportunities and influence actions to support diversity, equity and inclusion solutions and strategies. You will facilitate and align equitable talent processes, share ideas with the business and develop action plans that drive the execution of solutions to meet business needs.

**Primary Job Responsibilities**
- Build strong relationships with senior business leaders to develop a deep understanding of the business and increase awareness and understanding of DEI as a critical business imperative
- Drive the key pillars of the global DEI strategy into relevant initiatives, to strengthen diversity, equity and inclusion within the region
- Provide leadership and coaching, when appropriate, to stakeholders via one-to-one and group interactions, including facilitation, presentation, training, and influencing skills.
- Recognize and respond to regional needs by providing adapted global strategies and solutions to enable appropriate cultural awareness and change.
- Engage in the identification of DEI best practices and benchmarks as input to designing and implementing initiatives.
- Partner with and cultivate DEI Communities and network within the region, in order to scale initiatives and enrich associate engagement.
- Drive program objectives through program and project management, manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support.

**Required Skills**:

- Relevant professional DEI work experience developing and executing DEI strategies
- Strong program management experience, or relevant DEI or HR experience
- Experience building and executing programs, with proven project management experience
- Ability to translate data into action steps
- Strong communication, influencing and negotiating skills with an ability to communicate across a range of formats and to a variety of audiences.
- Cross group coordination across all levels of the organization; excellent oral and written communications.
- Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal awareness and skills with particular emphasis on assertiveness, supportiveness, confrontation, listening, and group process.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, matrixed and ambiguous environment by combining analytical rigor and strong judgment
- Experience driving organizational or cultural change within the APAC region
