**What the role is**
- As a Sound Designer in the Educational Technology Division, you will create audio products to support curriculum, assessment, professional development and corporate communications.

**What you will be working on**
- Record, edit and mix audio tracks such as vocal, music and sound effects
- Create, manipulate and layer sounds to support narratives
- Interpret story ideas and craft audio to bring stories to life
- Rectify issues and enhance sound quality
- Synchronise videos with audio tracks

**What we are looking for**
- Proficient in audio hardware and software such as Pro Tools, iZotope and Waves plugins
- Familiar with audio recording, editing and mixing including the use of recording equipment, such as mixing consoles, sound systems, speakers, amplifiers and signal processors
- Strong understanding of various signal processing techniques and effects, such as equalisation, compression, reverb, delay and modulation
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during audio recording or mixing
- An energetic and innovative individual with a keen interest in creative storytelling
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in teams in a fast-paced environment
- Trained in sound engineering or related field
- At least three years of working experience in the media industry would be preferred
