**Responsibilities**
- Advise loan desk on operational matters and help trading navigate through requirements to ensure timely execution and booking of trades while maintaining the second line of defence as core control function
- Trade Support - responsible to collect and review trade documentation and ensure product is accurately setup in LoanIQ system to facilitate trade booking. Ensure timely and accurate processing of trade life cycle events.
- Review scheduled activities and ensure events are processed timely. Investigate upstream to downstream breaks, and escalate issues to managers. Review key KPI’s to ensure proper control and governance of the process.
- Work closely with all stakeholders supporting the business, including Controllers, Operations, Treasury, Risk, IT, Legal and Compliance to ensure timely execution and control.
- Liaise with external parties including trade counterparties, agents, banks, intermediaries, to ensure timely trade execution and settlement
- Trade support for other products traded by the Loans desk including vanilla Bonds, Equities, vanilla derivative products, and credit insurance
- Demonstrate an understanding of front to back trade flows as well as Risk and P&L
- Actively contribute to process change and improvements. Suggest changes that enhance control of process, and participate in projects to improve process with digital tools.

**Requirements**:

- Sound knowledge of Global Markets and Credit. Prior experience in loans middle office is desirable.
- Strong control mind set and tenacity to drill down on details to gain an understanding of issues
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skill to manage multiple transactions. Demonstrate leadership abilities to prioritize and defer tasks when necessary
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivery
- Must have the confidence to deliver tough messages and have difficult conversations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to adapt to dynamic situations
- Self-motivated person, not afraid to suggest changes and re-invest process
