Laboratory Technician

The Laboratory Technician reports directly to the Quality Assurance Executive to perform the sampling, examination and some analytical work as indicated in the Quality Monitoring Scheme in accordance with the relevant schedule as established in line with the QMS requirement.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations in production line control with regards to inspection of line and checks on intermediate samples and finished product
- Sample preparation and analysis of total sugar using HPLC
- Participate in laboratory ICP, GLP and safety schemes in the laboratory
- Participate in GMP audit or other audits in Production plant
- Maintaining in good order (prepare for tasting and recordings) the product, keeping quality samples
- Participate in the preparation of fresh samples for tasting and also the housekeeping
- Preparation of Certificate of Analysis (COA) for customers
- Participate in the daily DQR meeting

**Requirements**:

- NITEC/Diploma in Food Science/ Microbiology/ Chemical Process Technology
- Fresh Graduates are welcome
- Able to work shift preferred
