**Career Opportunity**:
**Singapore Fashion Council **is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team at the Secretariat. In this role, you will be the guardian of our financial well-being, ensuring smooth operations and strategic growth.

Reporting to the CEO, and working closely with all the Business Units, you are the financial backbone of the organisation, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will lead the finance team to ensure smooth accounting processes and internal controls. You will analyse financial data to identify trends, manage cash flow, and provide insights to guide strategic decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Financial Management**
- **Budgeting & Forecasting**:Develop and monitor financial budgets
- **Business Planning**:Develop business plan and support informed decision-making.
- **Financial Reporting**:Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- **Cash Flow Management**:Cashflow projection, manage capital request, optimising collections and payments.
- **Financial Analysis**:Analyse financial data to identify opportunity and risks
- **Grant Management**:Tracking and submission of grants and sponsorships

**Accounting & Controls**
- **Oversee Accounting Processes**:Manage all accounting activities, attention to details and accuracy, ensure adherence to accounting principles and internal control procedures.
- **Financial Systems & Technology**:Oversee accounting software, leverage on technology and automation tools to enhance business intelligence
- **Internal Controls**:Develop and implement internal controls and polices, compliance with regulations.

**Leadership & Communication**
- **Team Leadership**:Supervise and mentor the finance team
- **Communication & Collaboration**: Provide support to cross-functional teams
- **External Relations**:Liaise with government officers, auditors, tax agents and bankers

**Pre-requisites**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Accounting Software, Business Intelligence tools,
- Proficiency in MS PowerBI is a plus.
- Experience in retail and grant administration management is a plus.
