**What the role is**

Principal Manager, Architecture

**What you will be working on**

An excellent career opportunity in an architectural team leader position to oversee and set direction in the construction and early planning of MRT projects.
You will need to:
1. Manage the design, construction support and supervision of architectural works MRT projects from inception up to completion and opening of the line.
2. Manage the architectural design support for advance / feasibility studies for future lines and early design stages of MRT projects.
3. Establish planning and design principles and quality standards for MRT station and facility designs.
4. Develop the necessary framework and lead the team to bring consistency of standards and quality for current and future projects.
5. Guide the team on drafting tender clauses and contract documents, review tender returns and make recommendations: as well as authority submission preparation and process to obtain planning approvals and statutory completions.
6. Manage the station design coordination for system / line wide interface issues.
7. Manage internal and external stakeholders and work closely with other disciplines within LTA to ensure seamless information sharing and timely progress.

**What we are looking for**
- Tertiary qualifications in Architecture
- At least 15 years of working experience, with 8 years’ experience working on transport projects.
- Completed at least one MRT project managing teams and being in a leadership position may have an added advantage
- Self-driven in setting and achieving targets for self and the team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
