The Role:
The Continuous Improvement Director is a key member of the Asia Operations Leadership Team and is a change agent responsible for the successful implementation and sustainability of Entegris’ Continuous Improvement operation system within Asia. This role will partner with and coach plant leadership, plant CI managers and shop floor teams to challenge the status quo and drive world class performance in quality, customer service and cost. This role reports to Managing Director, Asia Hub Operations, and will be based in Asia Hub office in Singapore.

In this role you will:

- Develop and execute Continuous Improvement Strategy for Asia operations
- Drive the continuous improvement culture ensuring engagement within all levels of the organization
- Support plants with the identification and scoping of improvement opportunities/projects ensuring the delivery of strategic business objectives.
- Ensure projects are on time and on budget, manage expectations and risks
- Develop tools and processes for implementing and sustaining continuous improvement activity at all levels of the organization
- Drive adoption of digital equipment/process performance measurement systems such as OEE and SPC.
- Plan, support and conduct Kaizen Events, Lean, TPM, Process Capability (SPC, 6 Sigma) training workshops.
- Coach plant level CI teams to complete their CI projects timely & successfully.
- Recognized expert who leads complex cross functional and regional improvement projects.
- Ensure sustainability of past CI projects and focus on standardization and adoption of improved processes.
- Promote CI activities, recognize and reward successes and celebrate CI accomplishments.
- Lead the Asia CI Council that consists of the Plant CI managers to drive sharing of best practices, lessons learned and driving local level projects to successful completion
- Be an active contributing member of the Entegris Global CI Council that:

- Determines the global CI deployment strategy: roadmap, priorities, and success criteria
- Develops Entegris’ CI curriculum / tools / templates
- Develops Playbooks to help plants to deploy CI successfully based on Best Practices
- Governs the CI Certification/Qualification standards
- Organizes PR, Rewards and Recognition to drive CI culture and engagement
- Partner with OpEx function to drive Operations Excellence in our organization
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Science, or Operations
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma and proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies with 5 years in leading and managing continuous improvement teams in a manufacturing environment
- Preferably Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Value Stream Mapping experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Proven cross functional leadership and change management capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Critical thinker, independent, self-starter, driven and highly motivated personality with entrepreneurial solution thinking
- Ability to manage large and complex projects on time/on-budget
- Willingness to travel as needed to support job scope
