- RESPONSIBILITIES- Development and enhancements of standard solutions in the IT/OT area
- Delivery of global and local IT-projects with a focus on IT/OT services in production, laboratory and logistic environments
- Project consulting utilizing business, production, and functional requirements
- Collecting customer demand and creating concepts which fulfil business requirements.
- Working on standard IT/OT products within a team to provide services to the business and create a value for Evonik
- Control lifecycle of products and check the market to improve the existing solutions
- Identification of potential problem areas and suggest remediation methods
- Collaboration with other Evonik departments (i.e Business Divisions, Engineering, other IT functions)
- Provider management of internal and external partners
- Consulting of internal business partners in the area of IT/OT cybersecurity
- Project Management responsibilities spanning all aspects from pre-project inception to closure including working closely with upper management

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree in IT or a related field with 5+ years of experience or 10+ years of professional experience with expertise in the areas of information technology, automation, IT infrastructure and cybersecurity
- You have excellent knowledge of IT/OT infrastructure systems like linux and windows server and client operating systems and active directory
- You have good knowledge of infrastructure technologies like virtualization, networking and firewalls
- You understand and are able to design complex infrastructure architectures including operating systems, virtualization, networking and databases
- Certifications from vendors like Microsoft, VMware or Cisco are welcome (CCIE, CCNP, MCSE,VCP)
- You have project management skills (Scrum, Prince 2,...)
- You have excellent oral and written communication skills in English, German is a plus
- You enjoy working in a team and this mainly in an international environment, whereby you are expected to make short business trips domestically and abroad
- You are attentive to timely support of customer incidents and requests
- You are also willing to participate in an on-call system
