**Business Function**:
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. This position exists in Analytics platform - customer sucess management team. This role is to manage BU/SU stakeholders with understanding, use cases, issues, requests related to Big Data initiatives/solutions, and be part of their success in data platform.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with BU/SU, to understand business requirements, use cases, data, and work with platform engineering and solutions teams to build solution and support them in onboarding in Analytics platform.
- Work with framework team for automation of data ingestion, processing & security that caters to the Bank’s standards and project requirements.
- Establish best practices and guidelines to be followed by BU/SU teams working on Analytics/Hadoop platform.
- Responsible for running the regular cadences with business and technology teams and track and capture the various streams.
- Collaborate with BU/SU, to understand business requirements, use cases, data, and work with them to build solution, and onboard them in Analytics platform
- Consolidate, understand, analyse the issues, concerns and requests raised by platform users from business and tech teams and discuss with concerned data platform leads to get updates and solutions.
- To prepare the reports collaborate with Platform and engineering leads to track and report all key areas of enhancements and fixes.
- Manage overall communications, tracking of various streams and is responsible for the effective customer success management.
- Analyse complex problems using information provided, understand customer requests, and provide the appropriate solution
- Prepare the consolidated inputs of various streams and present to senior management in various forums
- Responsible to review the business use cases from the requester teams pertaining to data and support them fitting the use case into relevant architecture pattern.
- Maintain relationships with multiple Platform Leads, business partners & tech teams.
- Provide educational/mentoring assistance to project teams and others
- Collaborate closely with Platform and Engineering teams in Agile/Kanban/Dev-Ops environment and assist engineers, when required, to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
- Adhere to all applicable Enterprise Data Platform development policies, procedures and standards.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified professional with a university degree or equivalent
- 8+ years’ experience customer management, architecting and integrating the Hadoop platform with traditional RDBMS data warehouses.
- At least 6 years of working experience, preferably in banking environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, able to adapt to various levels of detail
- Strong hold in Excel (macros/VB script), Power Point or equivalent presentation software, Visio or equivalent planning tools and preparation of MIS & management reporting
- Experience in Agile delivery methodology & Proficiency in SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence
- Experience in BIG Data tools & technology (Hive, spark, S3, etc.)
- Experience in the Data platform & ETL process.
- Familiarity with programming, Database management, accessing data from different Data storage system.
- Basic knowledge on understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Shell Scripting, etc.
- Proactive and detail oriented
- Experience in architectural or similar functions within the Data architecture domain
- Be able to interact and articulate the relevance and nuances of proposed framework, processes, workflows and get buy in.

- Thorough understanding of Data Warehousing architectures, techniques, and methodologies; including Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, Slowly Changing Dimensions, and Aggregation Techniques.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and platforms such as Tableau, Pentaho, Jaspersoft, Cognos, Microstrategy
