Application of AI-based methods for sensor-less field-oriented control of PMSM (permanent magnet synchronous motor) to mitigate performance degradation issues of conventional methods at low speeds due to pure integration and machine parameter variations.

**In your new role you will**:

- Involve in **simulations **of **electric motor **drives using **classical control methods**:

- Explore various **AI-based solutions **to known **problems in electric motor drives**:

- Explore the **feasibility **of implementing the solution in **micro-controllers**

**Internship Learning Outcomes**:

- Learn **advanced control methods **of **electric motor drives**:

- Learn about feasibility of **AI **to **electric motor drives**

**You are best equipped for this task if you have**:

- Experience in the **usage of simulation tools **such as **MATLAB **and **PLECs **is highly preferred.
- Fundamental understanding of **electric motor drives **, specially **field-oriented control **of **PMSM **is good to have.
- Knowledge of embedded C programming and understanding of **TinyML (Tensorflow Lite for Microcontrollers) **is a great advantage.
