Singapore BOUSTEAD PROJECTS E&C PTE. LTD. Full time

**Core Responbilities**:
**Quality Assurance/ Environmental, Environmental, Health & Safety Support**
- Provide support to assist QA/ EHS to:

- Ensure compliance to QA/EHS requirements by Subcontractors on site.
- Ensure follow-up to site quality inspection comments.
- Ensure Subcontractors do it ‘first time right’ to prevent abortive works.
- Attend respective EHS meetings on a weekly basis.
- Attend drawing review by the Director, Audit and Improvement.
- Comply with the Project Quality Plan.

**Project Support**
- Ensure that the Procurement List is in order and on schedule
- Attend respective design meetings on a monthly basis.
- Review tender documents.
- Flow through of Client contract obligations to the subcontractor in sub-contract documents.

**Finance Support**
- Ensure the work is executed within budget
- Prepare the cost report on time
- Ensure the progress payments are submitted on time.
- Ensure final account with all vendors within 3 months upon TOP.

**Business Development Support**
- Assist the Business Development to:

- Prepare construction schedule
- Prepare construction sequence
- Provide MS

**Construction Management Personnel**
- Act as direct reporting manager to all Engineer on sites:

- Senior Site Engineer
- Site Engineer
- M&E Engineer
- Site Supervisor
- Recommend and execute employment and removal of Engineers.
- Carry out training for the Construction Management Team.
- Carry out training for the Construction Management Team.

**Meetings**
- Conduct site progress meeting with Subcontractors to solve site issues, and to monitor work progress.
- Attend pre-construction meetings.
- Attend site quality inspection.

**Construction Authority**
- Conduct tender interview upon submissions of tenders/quotations by the Subcontractors.
- Shortlist and recommend the award of sub-contracts for various trades.
- Approve monthly progress payment.
- Negotiate and approve Variation Order (VO) for Subcontractors.
- Make decision on variation and drawing discrepancies during construction.
- Make decision on resolving construction and site related matters.

**Construction Responsibilities**
- Ensure work is executed within budget.
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with quality and specification described in the contract documents.
- Ensure compliance to QA/EHS requirements.
- Maintain zero incidents and zero defects on site.
- Site manage the following matters for projects:

- Ensure conformance to work schedule and approved budget.
- Check working drawing, identify discrepancies for resolution.
- Supervise work according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation on site.
- Avoid abortive work through strict supervision and education on ‘doing things right’ the first time.
- Ensure mockups are carried out prior to works on site.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Conduct in house training for Construction personnel.
- Expand and improve on existing Construction management procedures/ process, including documentation.
- Ensure Coretrade compliancentation management system for the Construction Management department.
- Ensure Coretrade compliance
- Continuously improve the productivity and competitive advantage of the Company
- Ensure achievement of planned C-Score target and submission
- Ensure all documents are uploaded to Sharepoint within 3 months upon TOP

**Requirement**
- Degree in Engineering or other Building related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years experience in similar capacity
- Good knowledge in the approving process of the respective government agencies
