**RESPONSIBILITIES**

General Worker (Laundry) responsibilities include cleaning, pressing and folding laundry as needed. They may also be responsible for the maintenance of laundry equipment and other duties around the facility.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the Home premises especially level 1 and at lobby area during weekend or public holiday.
- Performing simple maintenance of the buildings and premises.
- Keeping the environment safe, tidy, clean, and hygienic.
- Ensure that the facility remains clean at all times
- Providing laundry services and ensure there are adequate supplies of clean clothing.
- Sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding clothing and other têxtile items
- Performing minor sewing duties as needed
- Do the simple daily cleaning and maintenance of the laundry equipment.
- Keep an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits
- Assist in receiving stores/donations and record of inventory of donation items
- Track maintenance and repairs on laundring equipment if any

**QUALIFICATIONS**
Minimum primary school education

**OTHER INFORMATION**
- Must be in a good health
- Must be able to read and understand simple English
- Experience working with persons with autism, intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is preferred
