Assist policyholders in filing claims following an accident or other incident that caused damage to motor vehicles, persons, or property.
**_Duties/Responsibilities: _**:
- Receives reports of claims damage
- Processes written claims, contacting policyholders to gather additional information as needed.
- When an accident has occurred, acquires a copy of the police report and gathers facts concerning the accident, any injuries, or property damage.
- Explains the claims management process to policyholders.
- Contact panel or surveyor from relevant insurance company for inspection.
- Receives vehicle examination reports from surveyors and processes reports for further action that may include claim payment, litigation, or subrogation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
