**About the Role***

Reporting to the Head of APAC Payment, Commerce Ops Director APAC, this is a high-impact strategy and business role to grow Uber's payment business and advise executive leadership by building strong relationships with internal stakeholders (i.e. General Managers, Payments Product, Legal, Risk, Identity, Payment Operations) and external stakeholders including PSPs, banks, schemes and regulators. A key aspect of the role includes conceptualizing, socializing, educating, proposing, mapping and executing of the above payment initiatives aligning with legal & Compliance frameworks and business models mapped to Uber's global payment strategy. This is a people manager role with a team of direct reports.

**Your Impact in Role**
- Lead all APAC core card Payment and stored value product (ie: Gifting, etc) strategy by building business cases based on current payment trends, market benchmark and opportunities. Inform, Influence and execute the Payment initiatives and communicate key metrics to various stakeholders (General Managers & Regional General Managers)
- Identify, manage and lead strategic relationships with payment partners (PSP, Schemes, payment processors, etc) from evaluation, selection, execution to ongoing operations management by partnering with cross functional teams with product, engineering, legal, finance, business development and operation teams.
- Partner with product, data science, operations and engineering teams to identify and solve any payment issues.
- Program manage APAC Core Card Payment strategic initiatives which includes and not limited to leading the day-to-day management of all aspects of the payment initiatives including product planning and prioritization, cost planning & forecasting, governance and roadmap execution.

**The Experience You'll Bring**
- Proven track record with 8+ years experience within e-commerce, payments partnerships, payment operations, payment processors or payment product management preferred.
- Strategic thinker capable of driving internal & external stakeholders to a consensus on important issues. Strong stakeholders collaboration skills, exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Capable of leading multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects.
- Demonstrated ability to assess business needs, identify solutions and strong analytical skills to model customer adoption and usage, assess financial and business impact on the strategic initiatives.
