Scope of Work

PS for Win2025:
a) Prebuild:

- Study the existing Win2012R2 to win2016/2019 upgrade document and script from client.
- Study the existing Window 2022 OS hardening and rollback script
- Review Windows 2025 security standards, control IDs and control description mapping from Windows 2022 to Windows 2025

b) Windows 2025 OS Hardening
- Develop Windows 2025 OS hardening remediation and rollback chef cookbooks from Windows 2025 security standards.

c) Windows 2025 VM image / ISO image
- Download and install WIN2025 VM with the latest patch.
- Configure OS config (e.g. DNS, NTP, SIEM etc.) settings for persistent build.
- Install the required Infrastructure Agents per requirements on WIN2025 VM.
- Scan and remediate WIN2025 VM for VA findings
- Scan and harden the WIN2025 OS Image with client provided hardening cookbook.
- Create VM image from Win2025 VM.
- Create WIN2025 ISO Image for bare machine deployment (vmdk to iso) from the VM Image.

d) In-Place Upgrade
- Develop the in-place upgrade script and runbook for win 2016/2019/2022 to Win 2025 for VM
- Develop the in-place upgrade script and runbook for win 2016/2019/2022 to Win 2025 for baremetal.
- Test the upgrade script.

e) Documentation
- Project timeline
- Project tracking and minutes of meeting
- Deliverable artefacts and Runbook for each deliverables
