**Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of Equity Analysis Traders, overseeing the trade lifecycle daily activities of the team’s Equity Analysis Traders
- Lead the initiatives and provide a control framework with the Equity Trading Team
- Review and analyse on an ongoing basis the workflows and procedures, to ensure its effectiveness and efficiency, as well as controls
- Assist the team to resolve exceptions and discrepancies in daily trading activities
- Understand the fundamental characteristics of the stock market (HK & US)
- Read and analyse financial charts, evaluate trading algorithms
- Recognize and predict patterns in price changes
- Research different sources for market updates (HK & US) and build financial models
- Identify investment opportunities and implement effective trading strategies
- Regularly monitor portfolios to ensure that they are guideline compliant
- Keep abreast with changes in the financial market
- Analyse how a strategy might have performed in the past
- Prepare reports to make investment recommendations for specific equities
- Maintain and update of trade records for purposes that include the recording of dividends, stock splits and buy / sell for all the equities which are in the allocated portfolio

**Requirements**:

- At least Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field, and obtain CFA, BMC and/or FRM
- Strong knowledge of global market sentiment and economic data
- Excellent research and analytical skills to identify investment opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to convey complex financial information and data to investors and able to speak fluent Mandarin to communicate with Chinese-speaking associates
- Strong financial and credit skills
- Able to use financial acumen to improve the clients’ investment returns and portfolio performance
- Have broad professional trading experience of equity derivatives, buy or sell side experience in HK and/or US markets
- Quick learner, able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, high sense of urgency
- Have great team leadership skills
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, collaborative team environment
