As the Flex Senior Program Manager for Business & Technology Strategy, you lead innovation across Flex APAC and EU, covering multiple countries including Australia, Japan, Singapore and the United Kingdom. You demonstrate excellent business judgment and the ability to generate ideas and solve problems independently. You devise clear strategy and execution priorities and are comfortable both thinking big and diving deep. You are a creative and pragmatic leader who can identify opportunities, convince partners to support your vision and lead teams to translate the vision into workable, scalable product and process solutions.

Flex growth has been exponential over the past three years, and growth in the next three-year plan is particularly ambitious. Flex APAC/EU leadership, including the APAC/EU Director and Flex Country Managers and their teams in each country, are responsible for delivering all aspects of the end-to-end Flex business including safety, delivery partner experience (such as onboarding and engagement, workload, pricing), capacity planning and scheduling, regulatory compliance, cost and profit, etc. As the Flex Senior Program Manager for Business & Technology Strategy, you will work with the Flex APAC/EU Director and Flex Country Managers, and world-wide (WW) Flex Strategy and Technology teams, to develop and enable delivery of the APAC/EU strategic plan for new initiatives and processes that will generate growth.

Key job responsibilities
1. Operating Plan Development: Lead the development of the Flex APAC/EU Operating Plan for the next year (internally called the OP1 for initial draft reviewed and OP2 for final signed off plan) to identify the high priority, new initiatives and features proposed across APAC/EU, including both features that require and do not require tech work. Work with business and finance leaders to estimate financial impact and provide input into development of the OP Financial Plan which is led by Finance. Write the APAC/EU OP documents and lead the reviews to get input from multiple WW stakeholder teams.

2. Technical Prioritization: Advocate for APAC/EU Flex OP initiatives to be prioritized on the roadmap for delivery in the next year by WW technical (Tech) teams, working in close partnership with WW Flex Program leaders (e.g., WW Flex Safety team) and WW Flex Tech leaders (e.g., Delivery Partners Offers Experience Tech team).

3. Technical Roadmap Delivery Mechanisms: Lead development and adoption of mechanisms between APAC/EU country teams and WW Flex Tech teams for successful delivery of OP2 tech launches. Working closely with WW Flex Program and Tech teams.

4. “Think Big” Initiatives Development: Lead the development and adoption of processes across APAC/EU to stimulate and successfully iterate on new Think Big ideas to transform the Flex business. This will include helping teams learn how to successfully use the Amazon wide Working Backwards from Customers processes (internally sometimes called the Press Release and Frequently Asked Questions (PR/FAQ) process). Incorporate tangible Think Big ideas into the OP plans.
