The APAC GBM-Insights Team is part of Global Business Marketing at TikTok. It aims at developing research-backed consumer insights and validated claims to increase credibility and favorability for TikTok Business. Besides industry thought-leadership projects, the team supports TikTok's positioning through consumer insights, data points and claims. The APAC GBM-Insights team collaborates with multiple teams across the region and with TikTok Global Research & Insights teams within the Marketing Science organisation.
About The Job
As an Insights Partner, this position will provide analytical and insights support to drive projects across APAC Go-to-Market team and APAC sales teams for TikTok ad solutions.
This position will play a crucial role in increasing the visibility, scale and impact of consumers' insights delivered by the APAC GBM-Insights team. It will require engaging in discussions with marketing and sales teams to understand client needs, identify opportunities for leveraging 1P platform data and provide actionable consumer insights to drive business growth. In addition, it will utilize both first-party and third-party research data and resources to enhance the consumer insights delivered and provided to clients.
This position requires exceptional analytical and problem solving skills to formulate and complete end-to-end analyses (data analysis, visualization), synthesize actionable insights as well as the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
**Responsibilities**:
- Analyse complex datasets, develop compelling consumer insights stories and present findings to internal stakeholders and selected clients.
- Utilize both first-party and third-party research data and resources to enhance consumer insights and enrich business engagements.
- Conduct in-depth vertical analysis of internal platform data to identify consumer trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Translate complex data findings, including insights from third-party research, into clear and concise Point-Of-Views, visualizations, and presentations for business audiences.
- Engage in consultative discussions with internal marketing and sales stakeholders to understand gaps and identify opportunities for improvement.
- It will be crucial to consider scalability and impact in all initiatives driven to ensure consumer insights surfaced are relevant across business verticals.
- Provide analytical and insights support to drive projects across APAC Go-to-Market team and APAC sales teams for TikTok ad solutions.
- Leverage data from various internal and external sources and turn it into insights that help Sales teams realize business opportunities. These insights should offer impactful findings surrounding TikTok audience behaviour, TikTok products and TikTok key clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices in data analytics, insights delivery, and relevant third-party research resources and methodologies.
- Project manage key initiatives and stakeholder communications as required to ensure consistent and well executed deployment.
- Optimise user-friendly dashboards and automation processes to scale and enable data extraction for stakeholders from marketing and sales.
- Responsible for refreshing and maintaining dashboards and other data repositories on regular basis
- Assist with the design and implementation of data reports according to business needs
- Working and collaborating with a cross-functional team that includes Product & Marketing, Sales, Customer Solutions, Marketing solutions.
**Qualifications**:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Data Studio, Power BI) and familiar with Python or R for data analysis.
- Experience in conducting data analysis across datasets, using database query systems, spreadsheet and statistical modeling software (e.g., SQL, R, and/or Python)
