**Job Purpose**

Ensure compliance with **MOM Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations**, SCDF fire safety requirements, and other applicable codes.
Serve as the appointed **Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)**and **Fire Safety Manager**for the company.
Oversee and enforce safety practices on the **jobsite**and within the **building premises**.
Develop and implement safety policies, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
Conduct regular **safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments**.
Investigate and report on **accidents, incidents, and near-misses**, and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct **WSH Committee Meetings**, take minutes, and prepare and submit **WSH Committee Reports**.
Ensure **first aid boxes**are adequately stocked and maintained across all sites and facilities.
Plan and deliver **safety training**, briefings, and drills for all staff and contractors.
Liaise with **regulatory authorities**such as MOM, SCDF, and other relevant agencies.
Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure all staff understand their roles and responsibilities regarding health and safety. **Requirements**

**MOM-Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)**- _mandatory _
**Certified Fire Safety Manager**- _mandatory _
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction, facilities, or building safety coordination
Strong knowledge of local **WSH regulations**, **fire safety codes**, and emergency response practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively **Preferred Qualifications**

Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
Experience with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001) is a plus
Certification in first aid or emergency response planning is advantageous
