Responsibilities
- Take lead in all aspects of Health Safety and Environment for all assigned Rotary premises and projects.
- Ensure conformance of regulatory requirements in the aspect of Health Safety and Environment for all assigned projects and sites under the purview of Rotary Group.
- Execute all duties and activities as assigned by the reporting HSE Manager.
- Manage a variety of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) activities and operations to ensure that the assigned project/ site complies with local regulatory requirements and standards as well as Rotary IMS and HSE management system.
- Organizes and manages the HSE Plan & HSE Programs, Promotional Activities for the allocated project/ site.
- Monitor and evaluate the assigned project/ site overall HSE performance to identify recurring problem; research, evaluate and recommend changes to technology, equipment, systems or processes that will improve the HSE performance.
- Be conversant with the Rotary IMS Management System.
- Recommends and formulates policies and procedures.
- Propose changes and enhancements to the HSE elements of the IMS Management System.
- Keep up-to-date with all HSE regulations and internal procedural amendments so as to ensure any current or proposed technological safety tools are updated accordingly.
- Develop hazards prevention systems using robotic tools, artificial intelligence systems (AI), and other related or feasible technology available.
- Develop and implement behavioural safety program using technological tools.
- Conduct regular verification and audit to ensure project sites conforms and adhere to local regulatory and in house IMS requirement as well as client’s contractual requirement.
- Assures compliance with the Risk Management requirement as per WSH (Risk Management) Regulations, CP 2.0 on WSH Risk Management and in-house IMS requirements during the development of safety technological tools.
- Coordinate and liaise with project team to plan and resolve any HSE technological related issues
- Functions as an integral part of the Construction Team and Project Success.
- Conducting weekly Project HSE meetings with the Project/ Construction Manager.
- Attend safety/construction meetings and site inspection as required for the use of robotic tools and AI for hazard prevention.
- Support on the conduct of internal audit specific to assigned project/ site.
- Analyse incident trending to identify corrective actions to address root causes at a systemic level for data collection for safety technological systems input.
- Liaise with internal and external parties
- Interfaces with project and operations management, and client representatives.
- Assist in all areas of safety for pre-contract planning and incident prevention.
- Serve as single point of contact for all HSE related matters between corporate HSE, Project team and Client in matters of safety technologies developed.
- Prepare for and participate in client meetings on HSE-related areas.
- Distribute and follow up implementation of new HSE initiatives by Rotary and the Client based on technological innovative initiatives.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Engineering Discipline
- Specialist diploma in workplace safety and health or equivalent is preferred.
- Certification of Oil/Petrochemical industry safety course for supervisor
- Supervise WSH in Construction Industry is mandatory (BCSS)
- 3 years of relevant working experience in operations and co-ordination of safety work
- At least 3- 5 years of field safety experience with relevant safety certification
**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
