We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with experience in a similar industry to fill the position of **Grocery Store Manager **. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, including customer service, staffing, inventory management, sales, and cost control.

This role requires a strong product knowledge of fresh groceries, the ability to recommend and upsell, and a commitment to providing professional customer service.

The Store Manager should also be IT literate and proficient in using a POS system (preferably Shopify) to manage sales, customer discounts, inventory, and generate reports, and can manage food delivery devices like Grab and foodpanda to process on-demand orders.

A friendly and charismatic disposition, coupled with the ability to speak professionally yet in a relatable manner, is desired to support the business' local wet market concept.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. In-store Sales, Customer Servicing, and Order Fulfillment**:

- Act as the face of the store, embodying excellent product knowledge, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Oversee in-store sales, online sales (including self-pickup orders), and on-demand sales made through food delivery apps.
- Recommend and upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Collaborate with the administrative team to maintain adequate stock levels, ensuring product freshness, and efficient use of storage space.
- Coordinate with butchers and packers to ensure the quality and timely packing of fresh foods.
- Ensure proper packing and fulfillment of on-demand orders for delivery drivers.
- Facilitate the self-pickup process for customers, ensuring orders are ready for collection as per chosen pickup timings.
- Ensure all staffing and logistics needs are met to ensure optimal store functioning, even during peak periods and public holidays.
- Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff members, providing feedback and performance management as needed.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the store to meet health and safety standards.

**2. Profit & Loss Management**:

- Monitor the store's profit and loss, generate monthly sales reports, and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize the POS system (preferably Shopify) to manage sales, track inventory, process customer discounts, and generate reports.
- Develop strategies to maximize profits by effectively managing costs such as labor, minimizing food waste, and optimizing logistics.
- Minimize losses incurred due to refunds for poor products and services by promptly investigating and resolving customer complaints.
- Conduct regular cost analysis to identify areas of improvement and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality and customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar industry, preferably in a grocery store or retail environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and charismatic disposition.
- Excellent product knowledge and the ability to recommend and upsell products, including familiarity with groceries and cooking.
- IT literate with proficiency in using a POS system (preferably Shopify) and familiarity with food delivery devices like Grab and foodpanda.
- Demonstrated experience in staffing management, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff performance.
- Familiarity with in-store and online sales management, including inventory control and order fulfillment.
- Knowledge of profit and loss management, cost control, and data analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Salary (Base): From $3500/month + performance/sales incentives

Bonus: Guaranteed 13th month bonus (paid after CNY)
