Singapore CREDIT AGRICOLE CORPORATE AND INVESTMENT BANK Full time

Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, a full-licensed bank with several business operations in Singapore, is seeking to fill the role of a Trainee Officer in the Documentary & Guarantee Operations Department.

**TRAINEE OFFICER - Business Support Group (BSG)**

This is a 12 months contract where the Trainee will gain hands-on experience in the BusinessSupport Group. He/She will be working with our internal stakeholders from the front office as well as external clients on the trade finance platform.

Key Responsibilities:
Primary duties:

- Assist team in vessel and counterparties scanning/ raising of checklist
- Release/Receive documents at counters to/from client
- Despatch export documents by DHL / sort advices (end of the day)

Secondary duties:

- Handle Firco Online Filter (FOL) wherever possible
- Print SIDE swift messages
- Upload receipt of swift payment/acceptance notification to Eboni for processing
- Any other duties assigned

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role
- Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in business, banking and finance or a similar field, preferred
- Preferably with experience/exposure in Bills/Shipping department
- Motivated, creative and innovative and interest in finding new ways to do things
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to work in a team, team oriented and be a team player
- Able to commit for at least one year contract (renewable)
