Group Reporting Accountant

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee full spectrum of monthly group consolidation, management reporting and group financial planning and analysis (FPA) function including budgeting and forecasting for the Group.
- Preparation/review of quarterly 6-K announcements, board materials and annual 20-F and financial statements.
- Liaising on all matters relating to audit and NASDAQ reporting with various stakeholders ensuring compliance with group policies and NASDAQ requirements.
- Keep abreast of key changes in accounting standards, NASDAQ Listing rules, taxation requirements etc.
- Subject matter expert for new accounting standards and any accounting related matters and supporting the entities level.
- Key driver for implementation of group policies, processes and systems.
- Execute and implement SOX controls relating to group process and accounts.
- Involve in finance transformation projects and recommend any new or improvements to finance department process
- Support any ad-hoc projects and tasks from time-to-time as required.
**Requirements**:
- Chartered Accountant with a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualifications, or its equivalent.
- At least 3 to 5 years' relevant working experience, with at least 4 years in an audit firm. Fresh auditors are welcome to apply.
- Well-versed in IFRS, local tax regulations, and other accounting regulatory requirements is a pre-requisite.
- Strong team player who is willing to support team members beyond his/her own scope of work.
- Meticulous with numbers, a keen eye for details, technically strong with sharp business acumen.
- Familiar with Navision or other reporting system is a plus
- Other key attributes include excellent communication skills, proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
