**OVERVIEW & IMPACT**:
Samsung Electronics Device Solution is a global leader in Memory Semiconductor technology. Our regional Sales and Marketing office in Singapore is looking for a talented technical professional to join us as Senior level Field Application Engineer for Memory Technical team.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders to understand and resolve technical and quality related issues. Gather technical requirements/ specification from customers
- Provide memory long-term plan and align with customer requirement.
- (Pre/post-sales support and technical presentations regarding product strategy and roadmaps, features, industry technology and competitive positioning)
- Setting-up customer qualification plan (qualification block, MP time frame)
- Running regular tech meeting (weekly/monthly) for continuous customer support.
- Building-up customer relationship and keep improving.
- Collect customers’ feedback and provide recommendation to customer for design requirements, product enhancements and capture new project Design-In opportunities
- Discussing next generation product’s specification and making standardization by aligned with customer requirement. (interface, performance, power, form factor, density and software features)
- Explain and share details of memory technical issues to HQ tech team (Product Engineering, Software, Quality, Application Engineering)
- Running QTR/MTR meeting for tech discussion / new product D-In.Finding new Design-In/Business chances and contribute to revenue increase.

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- BS degree or MSC in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Field experience or hands-on practice or knowledge of multi-disciplinary system design and development (systems such as electrical, electronics, computerized, mechanical and / or combination of these)

Experience in FA/QA in semiconductor or electronics industry ( preferable in Memory related products)

Experiences in customer project design-in (understanding of customers design flow) and follow up in failure analysis issues (from self managing minor problems to co-working on complex issues with HQ team) will be added advantage
- Strong Ability to speak and write in Korean Fluently
- Understand Memory related ecosystem in ASEAN and India region

A qualified person should have at least 10 years in SSD development/test/analysis engineer role. Relevant QA experience in the semiconductor/electronics industry will be an added advantage.
