**The Role**:
Our Client originated from Scotland and our portfolio includes the world's best-loved Scotch whiskies and other spirits. We seek a Regional Accountant (one year contract) to be responsible for leading the financial accounting and reporting function in support of the SEAPAC business comprising of 8 markets.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead Financial Accounting and Reporting for SEAPAC region.
- Assist in Financial Planning and Analysis to support the SEAPAC business.
- Support continuous improvement in Finance and System processes.
- Support successful day-to-day trading operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end closing and reporting.
- Business partnering the commercial team in providing financial accounting knowledge to value-add business activities.
- Lead the financial accounting activities during the month
- and year-end closings.
**Job Requirements**:
- University Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the accounting field
- Professional Accounting Qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Technical Competence and/or knowledge of accounting rules
- Possesses analytical mind-set and high attention-to-detail
- Effective stakeholder management and business partnering
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
