**Responsibilities**:

- Involves in all aspects relating to the Tender, Design, and Construction Management of all types of Civil and Structural Systems for Industrial Facilities Buildings;
- In charge of the design of Concrete and Steel Structures;
- Assists Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule and quality
- Prepares, Issues, and Evaluates Tender packages;
- Coordinates with Architectural and Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines, and Quantity surveyors;
- Address site issues related to design;
- Liaises with Consultants and sub-contractors;
- Provides direction and coaching to other junior team members;
- Manages timely submission and approvals from local authorities.
- Mentoring Civil & Structural engineers during the tendering, design, and construction phase based on best practices defined in the engineering efficiency checklist
- Design and Construction experience preferably in industrial buildings with Precast and Long span roof trusses experiences
- Site experience in piling works, Sub-structure, and Superstructure work for reinforcing concrete and Steel structures and Precast structures
- Experience working closely with Process, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines, and Quantity Surveyor
- Experience in liaising with consultants and contractors
- Experience with checking shop drawings for Precast and steel structures and able to do detailed Design and work in a team and able to provide details for CAD.
- Able to do Tender / Preliminary Design, Detailed Design, Preparation, and Managing the subcontract tender packages and lead the team of Engineers and Computer Aided Design
- Conversant with the Local Authorities' requirements for Civil and Structural submissions
- Being conversant with other country codes is an advantage
- Willing to travel, if required

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering
- 6 - 8 years of Design and Construction experience
