Work closely with Senior Bunker Traders to secure new business, maintain and develop solid relationships with clients and key business contacts to effectively deliver excellent trading services to meet customer satisfaction.
- Preferably has an existing client base but not a key consideration.
- Some understanding of the maritime industry will be a plus.
- Become familiar with the customers, suppliers, barge operators, port authorities, surveyors, and become a reliable point of contact for customer requests and transactions.
- Understand the basic bunker purchasing process and terms commonly used and assist in presale and pre/post ¬delivery information gathering and follow-up.
- Support local and overseas office in their bunker inquiries.
- Conduct market research and prospect for new business. Develop and maintain a portfolio of your own customers.
- Able to make cold calls to solicit new clients.
- Daily duties will include active trading on behalf of clients ensuring optimum rates that benefit both the company and the client.
- Follow up on post sales operations.
- Assist/support trading team with ad-hoc duties when required.

**Requirements**:

- Preferrable a Degree or Diploma with 1 - 2 years’ experience in the Bunker Trading industry or Maritime related.
- Results oriented, able to develop & maintain good customer relationship.
- Willing to commit long hours as required by the job
- Pleasant personality, meticulous, positive and committed.
- Ability to multitask in a highly stressed & fast paced environment.
- Good team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
- At ease working in multicultural environment and ability to interact effectively with individuals of all levels in the organisation.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language, in particular Chinese.
- Professional presence and absolute integrity.
- Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
