**Department**:Fire Protection & Safety Systems
**Reports To**:Operational Supervisor / Operations Manager
**Work Days**:6 Days (5.5 days regular + standby duties)
**Location**:Assigned project sites across Singapore with class 3 driving license.

**1. Job Purpose**:
The Fire Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works for all fire protection and alarm systems. The technician ensures operational readiness of all fire safety equipment and supports emergency response duties when required.

**2. Key Responsibilities**:
**A. Maintenance & Troubleshooting**
- Perform **routine preventive maintenance**on fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, hose reels, fire pumps, emergency lighting, exit signs, and suppression systems.
- **Troubleshoot and identify faults**in control panels, detectors, and other components.
- Provide **technical recommendations**for repair or replacement of defective parts.
- Conduct **function tests, alarm checks, and system resets**in accordance with OEM and SCDF standards.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and comply with statutory and client requirements.

**B. Reporting & Documentation**
- Complete and submit **service sheets**, maintenance checklists, and inspection reports accurately and promptly.
- Highlight critical defects or safety issues to the **Operational Supervisor**immediately.
- Assist in preparation of **repair quotations**by providing defect findings and material requirements.

**C. Coordination & Emergency Support**
- Liaise with **building management, facility officers, and ground staff**during maintenance and emergency works.
- Be on **standby rotation**for after-hours emergency call-outs and respond promptly when required.
- Support the supervisor and team members during **emergency activation or fault rectification**.

**3. Qualifications & Requirements**:

- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Fire Protection Engineering (preferred).
- Minimum **3 years of hands-on experience**in **fire alarm and protection system maintenance**.
- Good knowledge of fire alarm panels, detectors, pumps, and suppression systems (Notifier, Simplex, Bosch, etc.).
- Able to **read wiring diagrams**and interpret system schematics.
- Possess good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willing to work **6 days per week (5.5 days regular + standby duty)**.
- Physically fit, safety-conscious, and proactive.
