Assistant Executive, Fixed Assets

The person is responsible for providing support service to Fixed Assets team to assist them in their service delivery on all aspect of Shared Services Fixed Assets (FA) function in accordance to Service Level Agreement (SLA).

**Responsibilities**:

- Process fixed asset transactions, such as assets acquisition, disposal, transfer in SAP. Monthly, perform SAP depreciation run.
- Provide accounting entries in Capex Purchase Requisitions ensuring compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and institution’s Finance policy & procedures.
- Prepare journal entries monthly, such as accrual, deferred income recognition, adjustment entries deem necessary.
- Monitor open items in Asset Under Construction (AUC) / FA Clearing GL Accounts monthly and perform asset capitalization upon project completion.
- Prepare monthly Property, Plant & Equipment (PPE), Intangible Assets (IA), Right-of-Use (ROU) audit schedules.
- Update SAP Fixed Asset register; yearly perform master data housekeeping.
- Generate and distribute fixed assets listing to Institution’s users to conduct physical assets count on a yearly basis.
- Perform follow up with users on their assets count status and assist to resolve any discrepancies found.and assist in the summary report preparation for Institution’s Finance.
- Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate supervisor and/or Management.

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience in SAP preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office will be an advantage.
