**Senior Application Technologist (Beverages), APAC**:

- **The Position**:

- Develop and initiate new concepts and innovative flavor profiles to meet market trends and/or specific customer briefs.
- Develop optimal concepts from Symrise flavor library
- Review usage of new and existing raw materials for prototype sample development.
- To be involved in sensory evaluation
- Recommend and obtain price quotations for new laboratory equipment. Propose and provide budgeting plan for new/replacement of equipment.
- Collaborate with Flavorists and cross functional departments regionally and globally on new flavors and concepts developments.
- Review project reports, propose technical development plan and provide guidance for technical expertise and career advancement
- Ensure developments are in compliance with food regulation, flavor legislation, country permissibility and customer requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of all projects and development work in systems
- Be responsible for health, safety, hygiene, ethical and financial integrity of all projects involved
- Recognize the needs and desire to undertake personal development as the role develops
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science & Technology, Chemistry and / or Biological Sciences or equivalent field
- Minimum 5 years of research and / or relevant industry experiences with broad food and flavor science knowledge and understanding of its functionality.
- Strong passion in food ingredients / flavor portfolios
- A strong team player, independent, agility and driven, accountable, creative and innovative.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
