JR43425 Test Equipment Technician

**Responsibilities and Task**

**Maintain equipment**
- Diagnose equipment problems and implement solutions.
- Evaluate problems using validated detailed troubleshooting methods.
- Ensure record keeping/documentation in equipment tracking system
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Perform calibrations on area tools and equipment..
- Select and use accurate test equipment and tools.
- Align with standardized procedures and guidelines.
- Stay ahead of on process and equipment procedures.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.

**Monitor equipment performance and address deviations**
- Extract data from applicable sources.
- Ensure reliability of data.
- Measure process metrics.
- Identify equipment inaccuracy or inefficiency.
- Communicate trends of machine performance to the day team and engineering.
- Contain deviation or inefficiencies and feedback to leadership.

**Communicate information to appropriate personnel**
- Provide communication between equipment team and various stakeholders.
- Communicate to and with production to relay problems, changes, or request information as needed.
- Provide feedback observations and data to the engineering group to help resolve chronic problems.

**Customer Service**
- Respond quickly and positively to equipment issues belonging to various stakeholders.
- Reprioritize work when business needs arise..

**Continuous Improvement**
- Assist engineer on overall test equipment efficiency and effectiveness improvement projects.
- Support continuous improvement tasks and projects to improve yield, safety and quality.
- Propose and implement improvement projects to desired results.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics).
- At least 2 years of experience in maintenance/manufacturing/servicing industry but fresh grads are also encouraged to apply.
- Able to understand electrical/pneumatic schematics and design drawings, manuals and procedures.
- Good team player with positive working attitude and initiative.
- Able to communicate through written and spoken English.
- Able to work 12 hours rotating shift.
